Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga is the oldest and truest forms of yoga in the world. Developed by the sages in India it teaches the ancient asanas (yoga postures) that optimize the flow of prana or life force energy through the body’s muscles, organs and glands thereby strengthening and purifying the body. Hatha yoga also brings attention to the breath and stillness in the mind to facilitate relaxation and inner peace. In a Hatha yoga practice the movement and breathing are conscious, intentional and practiced slower and with more static holds than other yoga styles.

Our one-on-one private yoga sessions are tailored to meet you where you are in your yoga practice or if you haven’t practiced before. These session are tailored to your specific health needs including immune, respiratory, digestive, circulatory, musculoskeletal, neurological and hormonal imbalances. We also offer fertility and prenatal yoga, and yoga for emotional health including anxiety and depression. Housed in our beautiful yoga retreat, you will find the space to center, reconnect and heal on the mat, cushion or chair.
