Our Yoga & Stretch Practice in Atlanta

Stretch & Flow

A Stretch & Flow session is combination of gentle yet deep stretches often assisted by the instructor and gentle flowing yoga positions. The entire session is grounded in breath work and mindful movement. As the body flows through the stretches, tension and constriction is released from the physical, mental and emotional bodies. This facilitates a renewed flow of energy and circulation throughout the body.

Circulation is life, stagnation is death. As we age, live sedentary lives, or recover from illness or injury, the movement of oxygen and nutrients through our 100 trillion cells becomes the cornerstone of wellness. Stretching improves circulation, improves flexibility, moves our acidic wastes, and reduces pain.

The Stretch practice at Ranesa House of Wellness in Atlanta is offered as private sessions (on the mat or massage table) and weekly group classes.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a therapeutic practice designed to deeply relax the body and restore the nervous system. It is particularly effective for chronic stress, fatigue, depression, illness recovery, neurological conditions, or simply rebalancing an overworked body.

The practice uses props like cushions, bolsters, blankets, and blocks to support the body in restful positions. Poses are held gently for five to seven minutes, allowing the breath to flow naturally and healing energy to circulate. The stillness encourages deep relaxation, letting the mind and body reset.

At Ranesa House of Wellness in Atlanta, Restorative Yoga offers a healing sanctuary where stress melts away. Suitable for all ages and conditions, it is a powerful tool to restore inner calm, improve sleep, and promote emotional balance.

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow Yoga connects breath with movement, creating a continuous sequence of poses. “Vinyasa” in Sanskrit means “to place in a special way,” highlighting the mindful transitions between each posture. Every inhale and exhale are intentional, anchoring the body and mind throughout the flow.

This style supports flexibility, mobility, and energy balance while easing pain, stress, and low vitality. By harmonizing movement with breath, Vinyasa creates a rhythm that enhances mindfulness, endurance, and strength. Practitioners often leave feeling lighter, more open, and energized.

Our Vinyasa Flow yoga classes in Atlanta are accessible to all levels, from beginners to advanced students.

Sacred Alignment Yoga

Hatha Yoga is considered the foundation and oldest form of yoga, developed by ancient Indian sages. This traditional practice teaches asanas (private yoga postures) that optimize the flow of prana, or life force energy, throughout the body. The practice purifies, strengthens, and rejuvenates muscles, organs, and glands.

A key aspect of Hatha Yoga is its focus on mindful breathing and stillness of the mind. Each posture is practiced with conscious awareness, encouraging inner calm, balance, and resilience. The slower pace and static holds create a meditative quality that helps release tension and cultivate mindfulness.

At Ranesa House of Wellness in Atlanta we offer a deeply spiritual version of Hatha Yoga with an emphasis on breath work and meditation - offering a scared alingment of the mind-body-spirit.
