Neuromuscular Massage

Neuromuscular massage therapy, also called myofascial trigger point therapy, is a specialized form of massage that involves the application of firm, sustained, and controlled pressure over painful, taut bands of muscle, called myofascial trigger points, to release tension and facilitate blood flow. The goal is to manually “soften” the fibers and make them “loose.” This stimulates blood flow into the area to foster healing and eventually relieve pain. Conditions effectively treated by NMT include neck, back, hip and knee pain, migraines, headaches, TMJ, nerve impingement (sciatica and carpal tunnel), scoliosis, joint inflammation, injury and surgery rehabilitation, range of motion limitations, and muscle tension.

Lymphatic Massage

Lymphatic drainage therapy is a form of gentle massage that encourages the healthy flow of lymph through the body. Lymph is a clear fluid that flows through the tissues collecting cellular wastes/toxins, fats, and pathogens for elimination. A lymphatic massage thus benefits both the immune and circulatory systems. Improving lymph flow reduces puffiness and bloating; reduces post-injury-operative swelling; reduces lymphedema or water retention; and helps breakdown fat and cellulite. It also reduces systemic inflammation and helps with pain syndromes and autoimmune conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. Lymphatic bodywork is often recommended as part of detoxification protocols and weight loss programs.

Raindrop Therapy

The Raindrop Therapy is a powerful yet gentle, non-invasive and non-manipulative technique that combines the science of therapeutic essential oils with bodywork and energy healing techniques.

Nine therapeutic grade essential oils are sequentially applied along the spine and worked into the back using bodywork - Acupressure, Vita Flex, and Swedish Massage - techniques. The treatment helps bring structural (musculoskeletal system) and electrical (nervous system) alignment. This is combined within warm compresses, shiatsu stretches, and lymphatic drainage to detoxify and balance all systems of the body.

The reported benefits of the Raindrop Therapy include:

  • Spinal Health - the oils/techniques are shown to reduce inflammation, alleviate pain, relax the nerves and muscles, and stimulate tissue regeneration. Testimonials indicate relief from back, neck and shoulder pain, sciatica, and scoliosis.

  • Immune Support - the oils/techniques are shown to stimulate the body’s natural healing response by delivering more oxygen and nutrients to the cells, eliminating invasive pathogens and boosting immune cells.

  • Emotional and Mental Wellbeing - The oils/techniques are shown to support mental and emotional health by enhancing deep relaxation, increasing energy levels, releasing emotional patterns, and clearing negative energy blockages.
